Which devices does it work on?
iPhone and iPad with iOS 26 or later. The on-device assistant needs Apple Intelligence; without it you can use Naka Cloud AI (3 free requests, then a subscription).
Is it a VPN?
No. Shields block ads and trackers only inside Naka AI Browser. Other apps and your connection aren't touched.
Can Naka buy things for me?
No. It gets you to the checkout or booking page with the right choice, and you finish it yourself.
Is my data sent anywhere?
Naka asks the first time you open it. With Naka Cloud AI, your request and the page are sent to answer it; with the on-device model, they stay on your phone. The privacy page lists everything.
What does it cost?
Naka AI Browser is free to download. Browsing, Shields and the on-device assistant (with Apple Intelligence) are free. Naka Cloud AI gives you 3 free requests on iPhone and iPad, then needs a subscription: $7.99 a month or $71.99 a year in the US (prices vary by country). It renews until you cancel it in your Apple Account settings. Subscription terms.
